Bremen trailed Clay 2-0 after 2 innings, then erupted for 6 runs in the top of the 3rd.
Mickie Shively singled home Gretchen Willis who walked to start the inning. Jaylin Swint then doubled scoring Lainey Neher who was hit by a pitch and Shively. Ellia Foster then singled in Swint & Chrissy Grabowski then followed with a double. Finally Katie Moyer singled scoring in Foster & Grabowski.
Clay then scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th. The Lady Lions then responded as good teams do, with a pair of runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. Foster reached on an error, Grabowski singled, & Flores helped her own cause with a double scoring two.
Shively hit the first pitch she saw leading off the top of the 7th to end the scoring of the night.
