The Greenwich Cardinals routed the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Cardinals (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights go into the Fairfield County battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Stamford topped Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT), 19-0, in a league battle.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Stamford for a Fairfield County battle on Tuesday, May 17. Bridgeport Central will meet a Black Knights squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-9.
