Indiana High School Softball - Cowan bounces Monroe Central

May 17, 2022: Muncie, IN 47302

The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) and the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), saw Cowan's softball squad achieve victory over Monroe Central by a count of 14-3.

The Blackhawks now sport a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Blue River Valley for a Mid-Eastern match on Thursday, May 19. Cowan will face a Vikings squad coming off a 32-0 league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Monroe Central falls to 5-18 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Wapahani (Selma, IN) to face the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern match on Thursday, May 19. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 12-11.
