Garrett Railroaders (Garrett, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lakewood Park Christian Panthers (Auburn, IN), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Railroaders now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a Northeast Corner challenge on Thursday, May 19. Garrett will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 28-3 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Lakewood Park Christian falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 21. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 12-9.
