The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) and the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), saw Norwalk's softball squad nip New Canaan by a count of 2-1.

The Bears now sport a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County match on Wednesday, May 18. Norwalk will face a Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, New Canaan falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Rams host Westhill (Stamford, CT) to face the Vikings in a Fairfield County match on Wednesday, May 18. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 5-13. Westhill lost 9-2 in their recent league match against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)
