The Newaygo Lions softball team (Newaygo, MI), was tipped 4-3 in Tuesday's league test with the host Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI)

Coming up next, the Coyotes encounter the Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 18. Reed City will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 16-0 record after their 7-3 non-league win over McBain (McBain, MI).

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Chargers come into the River Valley test with a 1-5 record.
