In Tuesday's non-league contest, the South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies (Plymouth, IN), by a margin of 14-4.
With the triumph, South Bend Adams moves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Eagles host La Porte (La Porte, IN) to play the Slicers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 18. The Slicers come into the contest with a record of 12-13. La Porte lost 16-0 in their recent league contest against Lake Central (St. John, IN)
In their next game, the Pilgrims/Rockies play the Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Wednesday, May 18. Plymouth will attempt to move on its 5-17 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 14-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN).
