In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Waterloo Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Belleville West Maroons.
The Bulldogs (21-9) will now prepare for their game against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians go into the Mississippi Valley game with a 26-6 record. In their last game, Mascoutah tipped Granite City (Granite City, IL), 6-0, in a non-league game.
The Maroons (12-16) will now prepare for their game against Alton (Alton, IL). The Redbirds go into the Southwestern game with a 9-20 record. In their last game, Alton tipped Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 5-4, in a non-league game.
