Connecticut High School Volleyball - Joel Barlow can't hold off Shelton

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Shelton Gaels volleyball squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Joel Barlow Falcons.

With the win, Shelton upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Gaels host Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to encounter the Panthers in a South-West challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Pomperaug lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)

Coming up next, the Falcons face the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a outing, on Thursday, May 18. Joel Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT).
