In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) lacrosse squad edged the host Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), by a count of 20-19.
The Warriors now own a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they host Old Saybrook for a Shoreline contest on Thursday, May 18. Valley Regional will confront a Rams squad coming off a 26-20 league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Rams record now stands at 10-4.
