The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), saw Lake Zurich's lacrosse team top Jacobs by a margin of 17-3.
The Bears (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Blue Devils enter the North Suburban challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Warren Township beat Barrington (Barrington, IL), 12-4, in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles (1-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers enter the Fox Valley challenge with a 0-15 record. In their last challenge, Dundee-Crown was overwhelmed by Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
