The Spartans now sport a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bellmont for a non-league match on Friday, May 19. Homestead will face a Braves squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN). The Braves record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Angola falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Jimtown (Elkhart, IN) to face the Jimmies in a non-league match on Saturday, May 20. The Jimmies enter the match with a record of 15-9. Jimtown won 10-6 in their recent non-league match against North Miami (Denver, IN)
