The Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) softball triumphed over the visiting Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI), 13-6 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Ironmen now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Traverse City Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 22. Mancelona will face a Sabres squad coming off a 16-13 non-league loss to Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Sabres record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Charlevoix falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Rayders travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, MI) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Gladstone won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Menominee (Menominee, MI)
