Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Jets now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus North for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Hauser will face a Bull Dogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 22-1.

With the loss, East Central falls to 10-17 on the campaign. The Trojans host Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to face the Wildcats in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Friday, May 19. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 16-12. Franklin County won 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)
