The Lake Central Indians softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Highland Trojans to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lake Central moves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Griffith (Griffith, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 18. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 8-10. Griffith lost 11-5 in their recent non-league game against Hebron (Hebron, IN)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 18. Highland will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 19-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN).
