Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Milan

May 17, 2023: Milan, IN 47031

The Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) softball routed the host Milan Indians (Milan, IN), 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots (18-4) will now prepare for their bout against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 9-13 record. In their last bout, Knightstown was routed by New Castle (New Castle, IN), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Milan falls to 19-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 12-14. Lawrenceburg won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN)
