North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Queen Anne (Upper Marlboro, MD), 13-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Queen Anne's County for a Bayside - North challenge on Wednesday, May 17. North Caroline will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Easton (Easton, MD). The Lions record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Queen Anne falls to 1-1 on the campaign.
