Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Massabesic for a Class A South challenge on Friday, May 19. Windham will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Portland falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to battle the Trojans in a Class A South challenge on Friday, May 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Thornton Academy lost 14-2 in their recent league challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME)
