In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL), by a margin of 21-1.

With the triumph, Woodstock North moves its record to 8-9 on the year. The Thunder travel to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Gators in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 23. The Gators come into the contest with a record of 11-17. Crystal Lake South lost 9-8 in their recent non-league contest against Batavia (Batavia, IL)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Thursday, May 18. Round Lake will attempt to move on its 1-21 season record. The Sequoits come into the contest with a 25-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
