Minnesota High School Baseball - Blackduck loses to Cherry

In Friday's non-league game, the host Cherry Tigers baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Blackduck Drakes.
The Tigers (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Randolph tipped Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN), 9-7, in a non-league battle.
The Drakes now possess a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Kelley for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 18. Blackduck will play a Mariners squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Mariners record now stands at 8-2.
