The Athens Red Hawks lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Rochester Falcons to 6 in the Red Hawks non-league win on Friday.
The Red Hawks (11-7) will now prepare for their match against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples go into the non-league match with a 4-14 record. In their last match, Seaholm prevailed over Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI), 19-7, in a non-league match.
The Falcons (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI). The Eagles go into the Division 1 Region 3 match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Utica Eisenhower prevailed over Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI), 17-7, in a league match.
