The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Dearborn Pioneers to 3 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Edsel Ford moves its record to 3-12 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Trenton (Trenton, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Downriver game on Monday, May 20. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 17-8. Trenton lost 7-2 in their recent league game against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI)

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 20. Dearborn will attempt to move on its 6-20 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 10-12 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Northwest (Jackson, MI).
