The Desert Scorpions softball team (Edwards AFB, CA), was routed 7-4 in Friday's non-league test with the host Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA)

Coming up next, the Chieftains clash with the Avenal Buccaneers (Avenal, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 22. Sierra will attempt to improve on its 12-14 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 17-9 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA).
