California High School Softball - Mission College Prep gets by Shafter

May 17, 2024: San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) and the visiting Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA), witnessed Mission College Prep's softball squad tip Shafter by a count of 6-5.

The Royals now sport a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Kerman for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 22. Mission College Prep will meet a Lions squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Lions record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Shafter moves to 18-12 on the season.
