Massachusetts High School Softball - Uxbridge bounces Shrewsbury

The Uxbridge Spartans routed the visiting Shrewsbury Colonials softball squad by a count of 9-4 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Spartans (16-1) will now prepare for their battle against Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Woolies go into the South Worc Cty - East battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Millbury was routed by Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA), 7-2, in a non-league battle.

The Colonials now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Andover for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 18. Shrewsbury will meet a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Haverhill (Haverhill, MA). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
