California High School Softball - St. Bernard's holds off St. Vincent de Paul

St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lower Lake for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21. St. Bernard's will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, St. Vincent de Paul falls to 12-7 on the campaign.
