Ohio High School Baseball - Lehman Catholic defeats Ansonia

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers (Sidney, OH) and the visiting Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), saw Lehman Catholic's baseball team gain a win over Ansonia by a tally of 6-1.

The Cavaliers (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH). The Jets enter the non-league battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Franklin Monroe was overwhelmed by Union City (Union City, IN), 16-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH) in a Western Ohio Athletic battle, on Monday, May 19. Ansonia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Blazers enter the battle with a 8-15 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH).
