In Saturday's non-league game, the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders baseball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Aquinas Knights.

The Crusaders (15-5) will now prepare for their game against Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league game with a 14-11 record. In their last game, Lake knocked off Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH), 6-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Knights play the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles (Warren, OH) in a Portage Trail game, on Monday, May 19. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 12-8 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH).
