The Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) baseball trounced the host Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 14-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Stars now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Jennings County for a Hoosier Hills challenge on Monday, May 19. Bedford North Lawrence will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 9-11.
With the defeat, Mitchell drops to 6-13 on the year. The Bluejackets host Crawford County (Marengo, IN) to clash with the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Crawford County lost 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Paoli (Paoli, IN)
