In Saturday's non-league game, the host Big Rapids Cardinals baseball team scored a close 13-8 win over the Inland Lakes Bulldogs.
The Cardinals (13-13) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers go into the non-league game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Mt. Pleasant nudged Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI), 11-6, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 23. Inland Lakes will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
