In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Central Catholic Raiders baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Boston Latin Academy Dragons.
The Raiders (8-13) will now prepare for their game against Andover (Andover, MA). The Golden Warriors go into the Merrimack Valley 1 game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Andover by Lawrence (Lawrence, MA), 6-2, in a league game.
Next, the Dragons play the Brighton/Boston Academy Bengals (Brighton, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 22. Boston Latin Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Bengals go into the game with a 5-8 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to O'Bryant (Roxbury, MA).
