The Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) baseball the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), 6-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 22-8 record. They take the field next when they host Philip Barbour for a Big Ten challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Bridgeport will clash with a Colts team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Colts record now stands at 20-5.
With the defeat, Hampshire drops to 9-16 on the year.
