Indiana High School Baseball - Charlestown holds off South Dearborn

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) and the visiting South Dearborn Knights (Aurora, IN), saw Charlestown's baseball team beat South Dearborn by a margin of 8-4.
The Pirates (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Salem, IN). The Lions enter the Mid-Southern battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Salem was overwhelmed by Southwestern (Hanover, IN), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a Eastern Indiana battle, on Monday, May 19. South Dearborn will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 16-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Carmel (Carmel, IN).
