Climax-Scotts Panthers (Climax, MI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI), 11-9 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Climax-Scotts advances its record to 15-3 on the season. The Panthers host Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI) to battle the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, May 23. The Rams come into the match with a record of 15-6.
The Panthers now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brethren for a Northwest match on Tuesday, May 20. Frankfort will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Marion (Marion, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-10.
