The Greenwich Cardinals baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host St. Bernard Saints to 0 in the Cardinals non-league win on Saturday.
The Cardinals now hold a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Norwalk for a Fairfield County test on Sunday, May 18. Greenwich will play a Bears team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Bears record now stands at 19-2.
With the defeat, St. Bernard drops to 5-13 on the year. The Saints travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to play the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 9-4. St. Paul Catholic won 10-0 in their recent league test against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT)
