In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Hibbing Bluejackets baseball team scored a close 3-1 victory over the Proctor Rails.
The Bluejackets (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 7-14 record. In their last game, Superior by New Richmond (New Richmond, WI), 5-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rails face the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 19. Proctor will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record.
