The Iowa-Grant Panthers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Pecatonica Vikings to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Cuba City for a SWAL test on Tuesday, May 20. Iowa-Grant will play a Cubans team coming off a 13-6 league win over Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Cubans record now stands at 11-7.
With the defeat, Pecatonica drops to 3-11 on the year. The Vikings host Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI) to play the Purple Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Purple Knights go into the test with a record of 3-11.
