Missouri High School Baseball - Vianney defeats Lafayette

In Saturday's league battle, the host Vianney Golden Griffins baseball team scored a close 5-0 victory over the Lafayette Lancers.
The Golden Griffins (33-1) will now prepare for their battle against Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO). The enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Miller Career Academy was overwhelmed by Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lancers face the Rolla Bulldogs (Rolla, MO) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 21. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 20-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 14-14 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Bolivar (Bolivar, MO).
