The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Marion Local Flyers (Maria Stein, OH) and the host Minster Wildcats (Minster, OH), saw Marion Local's baseball team gain a win over Minster by a tally of 15-2.

The Flyers (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Shawnee (Lima, OH). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 5-17 record. In their last battle, Shawnee was overwhelmed by Defiance (Defiance, OH), 12-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the Memorial Roughriders (St. Marys, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Minster will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Roughriders enter the battle with a 12-9 record after their 4-3 league loss to Bath (Lima, OH).
