In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Pleasant Plains Cardinals baseball squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the Morton Potters.
With the triumph, Pleasant Plains moves its record to 28-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to confront the Titans in a non-league contest on Monday, May 19. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 16-8. Glenwood won 11-8 in their recent non-league contest against Normal West (Normal, IL)
The Potters now possess a 20-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Mid-Illini contest on Monday, May 19. Morton will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 22-9.
