Indiana High School Baseball - Rising Sun edged by North Decatur

May 17, 2025: Greensburg, IN 47240

North Decatur Chargers (Greensburg, IN) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), 6-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, North Decatur moves its record to 11-8 on the season. The Chargers host South Decatur (Greensburg, IN) to battle the Cougars in a Mid-Hoosier match on Tuesday, May 20. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 6-8. South Decatur lost 4-0 in their recent league match against Hauser (Hope, IN)

The Shiners now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Ripley for a Ohio River Valley match on Monday, May 19. Rising Sun will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.
