The Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) baseball trounced the host Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), 21-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brownstown Central for a Mid-Southern challenge on Monday, May 19. Silver Creek will clash with a Braves team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over South Ripley (Versailles, IN). The Braves record now stands at 14-8.
With the defeat, Washington drops to 10-9 on the year. The Hatchets host Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) to clash with the Titans in a Pocket challenge on Tuesday, May 20. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Gibson Southern won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against North Central (Indianapolis, IN)
