In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Charles North North Stars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.

The North Stars (20-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Palatine edged Fremd (Palatine, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Ramblers play the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 17. Loyola Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-19 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-14 record after their 2-1 league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
