The Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) volleyball knocked off the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), 3-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pomperaug for a South-West bout on Tuesday, May 20. Newtown will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Woodstock Academy drops to 12-6 on the campaign. The Centaurs host Newington (Newington, CT) to clash with the Nor'easters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 20. The Nor'easters come into the bout with a record of 17-6. Newington won 3-0 in their recent league bout against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT)
