In Saturday's non-league contest, the host South Plainfield Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Immaculata Spartans.

The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ). The Hawks go into the GMC - White contest with a 5-12 record.
