In Saturday's non-league test, the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 20. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Porters go into the test with a 18-8 record after their 16-4 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL).
The Blazing Trojan (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds go into the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Thornwood prevailed over Brooks (Chicago, IL), 18-17, in a non-league test.
