Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) boosters were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their softball squad hold off the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 9-6 in a non-league test.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 19. Oswego will attempt to advance on its 16-9 season record.

The Redhawks (4-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, St. Francis held off De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 13-4, in a league test.
