Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) and the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), witnessed St. Charles East's lacrosse squad hold off South Elgin by a count of 7-6.
The Fighting Saints (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Neuqua Valley nipped Geneva (Geneva, IL), 19-4, in a non-league test.
