In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers softball team scored a tight 8-1 win over the Almond-Bancroft Eagles.
The Hilltoppers (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Lodi (Lodi, WI). The Blue Devils come into the non-league match with a 14-7 record. In their last match, Lodi nipped Stoughton (Stoughton, WI), 15-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Rosholt Hornets (Rosholt, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - South match, on Monday, May 19. Almond-Bancroft will attempt to better on its 18-6 season record.
