The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats softball squad (Cowden, IL), was routed 6-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL)

With the triumph, Arcola improves its record to 11-12 on the year.

The Bobcats now hold a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Altamont for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 21.
